Recruiter I – Entry Level Talent Acquisition

About the role

The Recruiter I supports the organization’s talent acquisition needs by identifying, attracting and onboarding qualified candidates. Working closely with hiring managers and various stakeholders, this entry‑level position helps ensure staffing requirements are met efficiently and in line with business demands.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and administration of recruitment programs.
• Receive, screen, and file incoming resumes, background checks and references.
• Conduct initial screening, telephone and face‑to‑face interviews with prospective applicants.
• Provide hiring manager recommendations, negotiate compensation packages and facilitate offers.
• Source candidates through internet, community organizations, print media, colleges, trade associations and professional networks.
• Maintain accurate records and reports throughout the recruitment lifecycle using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS tools.
• Ensure compliance with local hiring regulations and uphold consistent standards for all applicants.
• Promote the company’s brand to candidates and external partners while demonstrating high ethical standards.

Required profile

• Less than two years of relevant recruitment experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professionalism, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
