Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support the project team by managing and controlling costs throughout the lifecycle of construction and real‑estate development projects. You will ensure that budgets are realistic, costs are monitored, and financial performance is reported accurately to keep developments on track and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates and develop comprehensive budgets.
• Monitor ongoing project expenditures and track budget performance against forecasts.
• Review and evaluate contractor invoices, variation orders, and billings for accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, bidding processes and contractor selection.
• Produce regular cost reports and cost forecasts for project stakeholders.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants and contractors on all cost‑related matters.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost engineering or construction cost management.
• Experience with real‑estate development, commercial, residential or mixed‑use projects is an advantage.
