Quality Test Engineer II

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Test Engineer II who will design, develop, and maintain production‑grade test automation. The role requires deep understanding of asynchronous execution, test determinism, and CI quality signals, with a strong focus on both API and UI layers.

Key responsibilities

• Own test automation strategy and execution across API, app, and UI layers.
• Build and maintain automated tests using Node.js, JavaScript, Mocha, WebdriverIO, and Appium.
• Design automation for complex, stateful workflows such as authentication handling, session management, webhooks, and end‑to‑end validation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and UX teams to improve systematic quality.
• Log, document, and track software bugs using bug‑tracking tools.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and QA planning meetings to report progress and risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• 2+ years of hands‑on JavaScript coding and test‑automation experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Experience automating complex API or UI workflows, including security testing (OWASP Top 10).
