Quality Assurance Officer – Cold Storage & Warehouse

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will ensure that all statutory, regulatory and company standards are consistently met within the warehouse and cold‑storage environment. The role safeguards health and safety for the facility, its employees and the goods received and dispatched.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record storage temperature to maintain cold‑chain integrity.
• Check the condition of products stored inside the warehouse.
• Inspect product quality during receiving and dispatch, reporting any deviations to the supervisor.
• Oversee the housekeeping team’s activities and ensure the warehouse compound remains clean.
• Conduct daily internal facility audits using internal and NMIS checklists.

Required profile

• BS degree in Food Technology, Microbiology or a related food/pharmaceutical field.
• Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in cold storage, warehouse or food production.
• Knowledge of cold‑chain management, food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Certificates such as NMIS, HACCP, GMP, Food Safety or Occupational Safety are preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
