QA/QC Head

About the role

The QA/QC Head will lead the quality assurance and control function for infrastructure, hydro‑power and road projects. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures that the Integrated Management System and Project Quality Plan are fully implemented on site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement QA/QC procedures to meet project requirements and standard specifications.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date QA/QC project office with drawings, specifications and calibrated testing equipment.
• Coordinate material approvals, submit proposals to clients, and manage factory acceptance tests (FAT) before delivery.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings, provide status updates to the corporate QESH office, and represent QA/QC in client and project meetings.
• Monitor non‑conformance reports, ensure corrective actions are applied, and oversee ISO compliance across work processes.
• Evaluate and mentor project QA/QC personnel, recommending training and skill enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7‑10 years of QA/QC experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or head role on infrastructure, hydro‑power or road projects.
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Experience managing teams and ensuring adherence to quality protocols.
