QA Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will ensure that raw materials, feeds, and finished products meet the company’s quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves visual inspections, sampling, process monitoring, and thorough documentation within the feed production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and physical checks of raw materials and feeds to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
• Collect representative samples of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for laboratory testing following established protocols.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to identify variations, defects, or non‑conformities and alert the QA Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, deviations, corrective actions, and certificates of analysis for macro, micro, and packaging materials.
• Prepare shift reports (QA Analyst shift report, FSAR, bin bottom, in‑process monitoring, RM SAR) at the end of each shift.
• Conduct audits and checks to verify adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify deviations or non‑conformities.
• Effective communication with relevant departments to report findings and support root‑cause analysis.
• Experience in maintaining documentation and records in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles.
