QA Engineer (Ops Tech) – Remote

About the role

As a QA Engineer in the OPS Tech team, you will ensure stable releases across multiple product streams by owning testing quality for complex processes, integrations, and rapid product changes. You will work remotely with core collaboration hours aligned to Manila time.

Key responsibilities

• Test web applications built on Creatio platforms.
• Execute manual and automated testing for APIs, databases, backend services, and integrations.
• Extend and maintain the Kotlin‑based automation framework with new test cases.
• Validate APIs, backend integrations, business rules, and data consistency.
• Analyze new features for risks before testing begins.
• Participate in technical reviews, sprint planning, grooming, and requirements discussions.
• Design, maintain, and run test cases for new and existing features.
• Build and maintain API automated tests using the existing Kotlin framework.
• Investigate logs, database records, and system behavior to reproduce and document defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, product managers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2+ years of QA automation experience focused on backend/API systems.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and ability to contribute to existing automated test suites.
• Strong hands‑on experience in manual testing of web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and testing types such as smoke, regression, functional, and integration.
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify risks, and propose practical testing strategies.
