QA Engineer – Card Platform

About the role

Join Salmon’s fast‑growing fintech team as a QA Engineer focused on the Card domain. You will help improve test coverage and automation for both backend and frontend systems that serve millions of active users across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated API tests for critical Card services.
• Perform manual testing of backend and frontend components to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and QA teams throughout the delivery cycle, from requirements to release.
• Analyze requirements, identify edge cases and define appropriate test coverage.
• Investigate, document and track defects through to resolution and support regression testing.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Solid understanding of QA processes, methodologies and testing types.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work across teams.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Required skills

• API testing using Postman or similar REST clients.
• Basic test automation knowledge in Java, Kotlin or JavaScript.
• Version control with Git.
• CI/CD process awareness.
