Python Developer (Taguig, Philippines)

About the role

Ubiquity is looking for a skilled Python Developer to join its dynamic team in Taguig. You will work on scalable web applications, enhance existing software solutions, and ensure high performance and responsiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Write effective, scalable Python code.
• Develop back‑end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Integrate user‑facing elements into applications.
• Test and debug programs.
• Improve functionality of existing systems.
• Implement security and data‑protection solutions.
• Assess and prioritize feature requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Python front‑end and back‑end development.
• Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (Django preferred, Flask or Pyramid acceptable).
• Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL preferred) and basic database management.
• Working knowledge of APIs (REST or SOAP).
• Understanding of object‑relational mapping (ORM).
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field.
