About the role
The Purchasing Staff member will support the procurement function by managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role is essential for maintaining an efficient supply chain within a manufacturing and logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, delivery schedules and service level agreements.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database and accurate purchase records.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, cost or timeliness.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align purchasing activities with production needs.
Required profile
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple records accurately.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or logistics setting is preferred.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
