Purchasing Staff

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Purchasing Staff member to support our procurement activities. The role involves processing purchase orders, conducting market research, and ensuring timely delivery of goods in line with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely purchase orders to suppliers based on internal requisitions and project needs.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications to manage purchase order documentation and records.
• Conduct market research and request quotations to compare pricing, quality, and lead times.
• Arrange and monitor supplier deliveries to meet purchase order specifications and agreed timelines.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery receipts, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Report regularly to the Purchasing Manager on order status and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
