Purchasing Officer – Remote (Dayshift)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing Officer to join our client’s Operations team on a remote, dayshift basis. Reporting to the New Zealand‑based Product Database Manager, you will help keep the supply chain running smoothly by managing procurement activities, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting cross‑functional logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Own the purchasing inbox, process supplier inquiries, and issue purchase orders according to schedule.
• Coordinate regular stocktakes, reconcile inventory data, and resolve discrepancies to prevent stock‑outs.
• Track incoming shipments, manage import documentation, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with Operations and Production teams to report lead times and address logistics issues.
• Maintain detailed database records and support Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply‑chain administration.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent data‑entry accuracy.
• Effective written and spoken English communication for remote international collaboration.
• Philippine citizenship (PH citizens only).

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Experience using ERP software.
• Competence in databases.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills.
