Purchasing Officer

About the role

The Purchasing Officer will manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle for a busy clinic and laboratory, ensuring timely and cost‑effective acquisition of supplies, equipment, and services. This full‑time hybrid position is based in Parañaque with flexibility to work remotely as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions from internal departments and prepare accurate purchase orders.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to meet quality and budget targets.
• Maintain purchasing records and use spreadsheets or procurement software to track orders.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve discrepancies, and support continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
• Analyze consumption patterns and collaborate with inventory, finance, and operations teams to ensure compliance and optimal stock levels.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including requisition handling and order preparation.
• Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Analytical mindset for evaluating quotations and supporting data‑driven decisions.
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; healthcare procurement experience is a plus.
