Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

HelloConnect is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support its supply chain operations across multiple HelloFresh markets in Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for generating accurate purchase orders, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of ingredients to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, issue, and revise purchase orders for assigned categories.
• Perform audit checks to confirm order accuracy before sending to suppliers.
• Resolve supplier queries, escalations, and operational issues, conducting root‑cause analysis.
• Create and maintain daily operational reports and distribute forecast information to suppliers.
• Collaborate with Forecasting, Procurement, Warehouse, and Inventory teams to meet customer requirements.
• Correct data inaccuracies, report tooling issues, and recommend improvements.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks such as emergency purchase orders, delivery schedule updates, and inventory data analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing or buyer experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
