Purchasing Clerk

About the role

The Purchasing Clerk will support our garment production team by ensuring all necessary fabrics, trims, accessories and other materials are sourced and delivered on time. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase fabrics, trims, accessories, and other garment materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and material availability.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, inventory levels, and supplier databases.
• Track deliveries and follow up to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Negotiate cost‑efficient deals while preserving strong supplier relationships.
• Verify that all purchased materials meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Support production by ensuring timely procurement of all needed materials.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
• Strong negotiation abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, demanding environment.
• Computer literate with proficiency in standard office software.
• Preferred: 4‑year college degree or 2‑year college education with equivalent work experience.
