Purchasing Assistant

About the role

The Purchasing Assistant will support the procurement of construction and installation materials and equipment for our projects. This role involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of items.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete, accurate, and up‑to‑date purchasing records and documentation.
• Prepare procurement reports and summarize purchasing data.
• Handle and monitor claims with local and international suppliers/vendors.
• Source construction and installation materials and equipment from both local and foreign suppliers.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of purchased items.
• Monitor inventory levels and facilitate timely replenishment of supplies.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost‑effective procurement.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Perform other purchasing and procurement‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of any 2‑year or 4‑year college course.
• At least one (1) year of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably involving construction and installation materials and equipment.
• Experience in both local and import purchasing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of online and field sourcing within Metro Manila.
• Background in inventory management and supply procurement.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Immediate availability and preferably residing in Mandaluyong, Pasig, or nearby areas.
