About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our fully remote team. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing products, handling RFQs, and liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to secure competitive quotations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage RFQs (Request for Quotations) from clients and internal teams.
- Source and obtain quotations from manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Compare pricing, lead times, and specifications to ensure cost‑effective purchasing.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and terms.
- Follow up on quotations, orders, and supplier responses in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, supplier databases, and purchasing documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet procurement requirements.
- Monitor market pricing and identify alternative suppliers when necessary.
Required profile
- Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (preferred).
- Experience handling RFQs and supplier communications.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturers and sourcing processes is an advantage.
