About the role
The Project Technical Specialist II will support the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) in conducting advanced statistical and data‑science projects. This position involves analyzing data, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring the quality and security of project databases.
Key responsibilities
- Perform advanced statistical data analysis.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of related literature.
- Prepare technical papers, presentations, and other reports.
- Support the dissemination of study results.
- Document datasets used in the study.
- Manage project databases, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field).
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably with exposure to small‑area estimation and data‑science projects.
- Completion of at least 4 hours of relevant training in statistical analysis and data‑science applications.
