Project Subcontracts Manager (Onsite)

About the role

S&B is seeking a lead Subcontracts Manager to oversee high‑value, technically unique projects. The role plans, schedules, coordinates, and directs Subcontracts Administrators and support staff, ensuring cost‑effective and profitable execution.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the activities of assigned subcontracting team and provide guidance to less‑experienced personnel.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee subcontracting processes for projects with high dollar value or critical product lines.
• Evaluate, select, and adapt subcontracting techniques, procedures, and criteria independently.
• Manage contractual terms, risk, and compliance, including indemnification, insurance, warranties, and dispute resolution.
• Interface directly with clients to ensure alignment on subcontracting strategy and performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of subcontracting experience in Industrial Power, Energy, EPC, or Heavy Industrial Construction.
• 4‑year degree in Business Administration or equivalent 12‑15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of contractual T&Cs, risk management, and commercial negotiations.
• Proven ability to influence cost containment, efficiency, and profitability.
