Project Planning Manager

About the role

The Project Planning Manager will lead scheduling activities for a portfolio of major wind projects, ensuring that all timelines are realistic, coordinated, and aligned with the overall master schedule. You will work closely with operations teams, external vendors, and the Project Director to drive accurate schedule performance and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement project scheduling resources, processes and systems across major projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop and maintain the project execution schedule within the master schedule.
• Assist the Project Director/Project Manager in translating implementation learnings into performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, user profiles and security settings.
• Provide training to junior staff and P6 users.
• Ensure schedule decisions are based on accurate, timely performance data.
• Oversee project cost controls for assigned major projects.
• Perform any other duties required to support the project portfolio.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or related field (desirable).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and scheduling control roles.
• Proven experience in the wind industry.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, including implementation and project setup.
• Expertise in schedule planning, activity duration estimating, and critical path method (CPM) schedule preparation.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control processes.
