Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Project Manager to lead complex civil engineering projects for a fast‑growing startup. The role is fully remote and involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with TxDOT standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Define project milestones, deliverables, and critical path aligned with client requirements.
• Maintain project schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reporting.
• Allocate resources effectively, covering personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor and control project costs to avoid overruns.
• Lead and coordinate multiple project teams, including engineers, designers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as contracts, reports, and correspondence.
• Provide regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission.
• Conduct quality checks and implement quality control procedures.
• Ensure timely submission of all project documentation and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability when dealing with projects and clients.
• Valid driver’s license.
