Project Manager – BWPC (Onsite, Gateway, Cavite)

About the role

The Project Manager – BWPC will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver plant‑level projects in Gateway, Cavite. Reporting to senior engineering leadership, you will act as the technical trainer for line crews, drive root‑cause analysis, and ensure safety, quality and productivity targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coach line teams on phenomena identification, root‑cause analysis and counter‑measure implementation.
• Collaborate with factory teams on layout, automation, business cases and future innovations.
• Develop and maintain project execution, safety and work‑sequence plans in line with Unilever standards.
• Prepare URS and specifications for procurement packages, lead RFP and bidding processes.
• Review technical bids, participate in contractor selection and ensure contractor fit.
• Monitor project execution, conduct site audits for safety, quality and compliance.
• Lead regular engineering management meetings and escalate issues to the E2E project team.
• Support R&D and procurement for MPT execution and stability testing.
• Oversee asset‑tagging, fixed‑asset maintenance, capitalization and audit activities.
• Finalize project close‑out documentation and hand‑over to operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex industrial or manufacturing projects.
• Strong background in mechanical/electrical engineering, controls or automation.
• Ability to work onsite daily with line crews and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action planning.
• Technical training and coaching.
• Understanding of procurement processes, RFP and bid evaluation.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and asset‑management standards.
