Project Financial Controller

About the role

Black & White Engineering is looking for an experienced Project Financial Controller to oversee financial activities across global engineering projects. You will act as a strategic partner to project teams, ensuring accurate reporting, robust analysis, and effective financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end financial oversight for multiple projects, from set‑up to closure.
• Maintain project data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and approved Work Breakdown Structures.
• Prepare and update budgets, forecasts, work plans, and fee allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor revenue, costs, and margins; support corrective actions to meet financial targets.
• Oversee billing, client invoicing, sub‑consultant payments, and accounts receivable.
• Produce Project Financial Status reports for senior management and contribute to ERP transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project finance, financial control or project accounting.
• Experience in a shared‑services environment or engineering consultancy is advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
