Project Engineer – Security Systems (Philippines)

About the role

Convergint is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the installation, testing, commissioning, and programming of security equipment across client sites in the Philippines. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality engineering projects while ensuring strong customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and program security equipment in line with company standards.
• Manage project timelines and resources to ensure successful completion.
• Provide technical support to Sales and other internal teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security systems.
• Conduct on‑site training sessions for clients.
• Use AutoCAD to design security layouts and create building diagrams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of security concepts and technologies.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or Automation.
• 2–5 years of experience in security, electronics, or small‑project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Basic IT knowledge of security hardware, networking, and databases.
• Experience with access‑control systems, CCTV, and alarm products is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Lenel, GE, Cisco, or S2 platforms is a clear plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and client‑service orientation.
