Project Assistant (Response) – Roster

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is establishing a roster of Project Assistants to support surge staffing needs during disasters, emergencies and other humanitarian response operations in the Philippines. This is a roster‑only position with no confirmed start date; members will be called upon when operational requirements arise.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain local availability and be ready for rapid deployment to emergency response sites.
• Support mission teams in areas such as shelter, WASH, cash‑based interventions, mental health and psychosocial support, community mobilisation, information management and health.
• Complete all onboarding, documentation and administrative procedures promptly upon activation.
• Contribute to reporting and data collection as required by the mission.

Required profile

• Applicants from diverse backgrounds, internal or external, are welcome.
• Demonstrated experience in emergency response or related sectors (e.g., shelter, WASH, CBI, MHPSS, community mobilisation, health).
• Ability to work locally and respond quickly to deployment requests.
• Willingness to maintain availability for the duration of the roster.
