Project Architect

About the role

Chambers is seeking a Project Architect to join its design studios and collaborate closely with the Project Director and Senior Interior Designer. You will develop architectural elements from conceptual master plans through detailed construction documents for upscale hospitality and multi‑family residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings, details, and design documentation independently and as part of a team.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to generate deliverables such as drawing sets, schedules, and specifications.
• Develop design concepts for master‑planning and architecture projects in partnership with the Director of Design.
• Serve as a Chambers representative for clients, consultants, and industry partners.
• Maintain active participation in professional organizations (AIA, ULI, etc.) and engage with high‑end private‑club clientele.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Strong portfolio in upscale hospitality or multi‑family residential projects.
• License or NCARB certification preferred, with an active record.
• Proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Current knowledge of building codes, AIA documents, and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit or other BIM software.
• Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Understanding of LEED accreditation (plus).
