Project Accountant / Billing (Working Capital Specialist)

About the role

The company is seeking a Project Accountant who will act as a Working Capital Specialist, providing pre‑billing information for project managers and preparing invoices for customers and contractors. This full‑time, onsite position reports to the Director of Project Accounting and works night shifts (10 PM – 7 AM Manila time).

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project billing and accounting tasks for assigned projects.
• Prepare standard invoices and AIA G702/G703 monthly draws.
• Gather documentation for stored‑material billing, including bills of sale and insurance certificates.
• Follow up on pay applications, revise as needed, and post preliminary invoices.
• Manage billing in systems such as Textura, GC Pay, and Procore.
• Identify and correct billing errors, process credits, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Participate in bi‑weekly WIP meetings and monthly AR meetings with senior leadership.
• Serve as primary contact for contractors and customers on billing and funding matters.
• Prepare lien waivers and collect supplier waivers when required.
• Resolve unapplied cash, conduct proactive collection outreach, and provide weekly AR aging reports.
• Mentor and train new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Project Accountant or in a similar role.
• Extensive experience in project invoicing and billing.
• Excellent communication skills for client and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Textura, GC Pay, and Procore billing platforms.
• Knowledge of AIA G702 and G703 forms and progress billing processes.
• Experience in preparing and managing project invoicing and billing documentation.
