About the role

We are seeking a senior academic leader to serve as Professor, overseeing the engineering program and driving excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement. The role reports to the University President and works closely with the Deanship and faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Lead curriculum design and ensure instructional quality aligned with research-informed practices.
• Promote and manage research initiatives, publications, and scholarly output.
• Develop and implement extension and community‑engagement programs that address industry and societal needs.
• Oversee quality‑assurance processes and accreditation compliance for academic programs.
• Manage academic and administrative operations to ensure efficient, effective, and compliant services.
• Set strategic vision, align with institutional goals, and uphold academic governance standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop faculty and staff to achieve high performance.
• Steward resources responsibly and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Apply data‑driven decision‑making and risk management to support institutional resilience.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Engineering or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant leadership or administrative experience in higher education, preferably as a dean.
• Industry experience is an advantage.
• Eligibility under RA 1080 for courses with BAR or BOARD requirements.
