Production Operator

About the role

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Production Operator to join its laboratory team. The role involves producing and processing ophthalmic lenses, ensuring they meet strict quality and safety standards while supporting the company’s vision‑care mission.

Key responsibilities

• Perform production activities at the assigned workstation following approved processes and quality standards.
• Produce, process, inspect, and handle lenses, recording any defects or non‑conformances.
• Segregate defective lenses and coordinate their disposition.
• Escalate quality concerns to the Laboratory Supervisor or Team Lead.
• Support quality monitoring and maintain accurate production records.
• Ensure rejected lenses undergo inspection before moving to the next process.
• Collaborate with Quality, Customer Service, Messenger, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Help achieve production output, yield, and work‑in‑process targets while maintaining safety standards.

Required profile

• At least a two‑year college graduate; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or quality‑related work is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to follow SOPs.
• Team player with a positive, resourceful attitude and good communication skills.
• Resilient, dependable, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules if required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
