Production Associate – Toll Mill Operations

About the role

The Production Associate for the toll mill ensures smooth execution of feed manufacturing processes, from raw material elevation and dosing to grinding, mixing, pelleting, and bagging. The role involves continuous inspection to guarantee compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the toll mill operator to schedule raw material elevation and product runs, preventing material shortages.
• Verify product formulations and ensure accurate dosing according to mixing guides, adjusting with NITR personnel as needed.
• Monitor production volumes against allocations to meet customer specifications on time.
• Conduct visual and nutritional inspections of raw materials and finished feeds, checking appearance, texture, color, and nutrient content.
• Test pellet durability, size, color, and nutritional value to meet company standards.
• Collect representative samples of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for laboratory testing, including wet chemistry analysis.
• Validate hand‑add preparation reports and dosing records against approved formulations.
• Identify and document product non‑conformities, initiating containment actions to prevent release of non‑conforming material.
• Execute SAP transactions such as Goods Receiving, Goods Issuance, Confirmations, and process order updates in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain detailed production records.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with toll mill staff, NITR personnel, and quality teams.
• Attention to detail for accurate dosing, sampling, and inspection activities.
• Basic understanding of feed manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance.
