Product and Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Philux is seeking a Product and Manufacturing Engineer to transform approved product concepts into production‑ready solutions. You will ensure designs meet structural integrity, manufacturability, quality, and cost targets while supporting prototype evaluation and product launch.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product concepts into engineered solutions ready for production.
• Review designs for manufacturability (DFM) and production feasibility.
• Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD models, production drawings, and CNC‑ready CAD/CAM files.
• Develop, optimize, and standardize CNC programs and machining processes.
• Maintain Bills of Materials, engineering specifications, and cost inputs.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities and recommend alternative materials or methods.
• Drive process improvement through AI‑enabled workflows and digital documentation.
• Collaborate with design, production, purchasing, quality, and supply‑chain teams for successful product launches.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product engineering and manufacturing readiness.
• Strong understanding of DFM principles and production feasibility analysis.
• Ability to resolve technical issues during development and launch phases.
• Experience working cross‑functionally in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• CAD and CAM software proficiency (2D/3D modeling, drawing creation).
• CNC programming and machining knowledge.
• Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
• Product costing and value‑engineering techniques.
• Familiarity with ERP and digital product library systems.
