Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Procurement Specialist with experience in furniture manufacturing. You will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, hardware, and production supplies while ensuring cost‑effective, timely purchasing that supports uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, hardware, fittings, and production supplies for furniture manufacturing.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and suppliers to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Evaluate supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships.
• Monitor purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and documentation requirements.
• Resolve supply, delivery, and quality issues with vendors promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a furniture manufacturing or modular cabinet company.
• Strong knowledge of furniture materials, boards, laminates, hardware, accessories, and production supplies.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor negotiation, and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or purchasing systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Available to start immediately and willing to work Monday‑Saturday.
