Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support our supply chain by ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining cost‑effectiveness and quality. The role involves managing purchase orders, communicating with vendors, and keeping inventory records accurate within our ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders, verifying specifications, quantities and pricing against vendor agreements.
• Communicate daily with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm delivery dates and resolve any shipping or pricing issues.
• Reconcile vendor invoices with received purchase orders to clear cost exceptions.
• Monitor inventory levels, generate out‑of‑stock reports and assist in maintaining optimal stock.
• Enter and update material cost and supplier lead‑time data in the ERP system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field, or 5‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail and basic analytical abilities for evaluating vendor pricing.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, open‑source ERP solutions or Coupa.
