Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will support Okada Manila by sourcing, validating, and negotiating goods and services to achieve optimal price, quality, delivery, and payment terms. This role ensures compliance with regulations and internal policies while acting as a key liaison between suppliers and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Source, validate, and negotiate required goods and services using Total Cost of Ownership principles.
• Prepare bid tabulations from RFP/RFQ processes and recommend suppliers that meet business requirements.
• Create purchase orders or contracts in the procurement system and award orders to selected suppliers.
• Assist in resolving disputes by providing necessary documentation for PO or contract discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with government regulations, company guidelines, and purchasing policies.
• Generate weekly reports and update trackers for assigned projects or commodities.
• Submit supplier performance details for review and provide feedback.
• Act as liaison between suppliers and internal departments to resolve procurement‑related issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using a procurement system in a previous organization.
• Strong critical‑thinking, emotional resilience, and adaptability.
