Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will support the Projects Services Group (PSG) on various projects, handling procurement, purchasing, expediting, cost control and logistics for Lycopodium Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement functions as directed by the Manager of Projects and Principal Procurement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure optimal prices and timely delivery of equipment meeting technical, schedule and commercial requirements.
• Analyse quotations and conduct commercial evaluations to select appropriate suppliers.
• Process, gather and file purchasing documentation to ensure quick access throughout the purchasing cycle.
• Issue and evaluate tender packages within required timeframes.
• Maintain and update the PSG supplier database and complete template close‑out reports upon practical completion.
• Register and file all project documentation in accordance with company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar procurement role within a relevant industry.
• Proven experience with computerised purchasing and logistics systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across business units.
• Demonstrated integrity, credibility and commitment.
• Analytical and problem‑solving aptitude.
