Principal Specialist, HR Operations

About the role

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, HR Operations to lead operational excellence within its People Services organization. This senior individual contributor will partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Legal, Payroll and business leaders to deliver scalable, compliant, employee‑centric services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior subject‑matter expert for HR initiatives, transformation, and ServiceNow HR Service Delivery.
• Guide and coach team members, fostering capability building and knowledge sharing.
• Lead change‑management efforts for process improvements and system implementations.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, dashboards and reporting, providing insights to enhance performance.
• Handle complex, high‑risk employee‑relations matters, including investigations and policy interpretation.
• Partner with Legal and HR Business Partners to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with employment law.
• Support seamless pre‑boarding, compliance documentation and Day 1 readiness for new hires.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 7–9 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to Employee Relations and HR Operations.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and drive process excellence.
