Precast Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Precast Engineer to lead the engineering and technical aspects of precast concrete manufacturing and installation. The role involves preparing detailed shop drawings, coordinating with design and construction teams, and ensuring that all precast elements meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review precast concrete shop and fabrication drawings, including reinforcement and connection details.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and consultants to verify design compliance and incorporate changes.
• Support production by monitoring schedules, providing technical guidance, and resolving engineering issues during fabrication.
• Conduct quality inspections, review reports, and recommend corrective actions to maintain product quality.
• Monitor project progress, prepare technical reports, and ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time.
• Participate in project meetings, liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Required profile

• Experience in precast concrete engineering or related construction engineering.
• Strong understanding of engineering standards, calculations, and reinforcement detailing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical documentation.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills for production and quality issues.
