Powerplant Engineer

About the role

Cebu Pacific is seeking a Powerplant Engineer to provide technical support for its aircraft engine fleet. The role focuses on ensuring airworthiness, safety, and reliability of powerplant assets while collaborating with engineering and fleet management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Offer technical assistance on powerplant assets, including AAOG support, troubleshooting recommendations, practical training, and guidance.
• Evaluate airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and other recommendations for fleet applicability, considering operational and commercial impact.
• Define and maintain strategic removal plans for assets, balancing shop loading peaks and troughs and managing owned and leased engines.
• Develop work scopes for powerplant assets, aligning with removal reasons, life‑cycle goals, and budget constraints.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum six years of experience as a Powerplant Engineer (CAMO) in an airline environment.
• Valid PRC or Aeronautical Engineering license.
• Legal authorization to work in the Philippines.
