Poseidon System Administrator

About the role

The Poseidon System Administrator ensures the Freight system operates as designed, addressing incidents quickly to minimise business disruption. You will provide functional and technical support to Freight, Finance and third‑party users of the Poseidon SMARTS application, conduct training for new users, and maintain system integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage system performance, troubleshoot issues and coordinate fixes, maintenance, updates and upgrades.
• Administer user accounts, create menus, grant access rights and activate new users based on job function.
• Provide functional and technical support, handle bug reporting and ensure timely resolution of user‑raised issues.
• Implement security measures, monitor compliance and protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Conduct periodic system integrity audits, encode vessel schedules in the VOYCES module and ensure accurate release to the LINE application.
• Collaborate with IT on system design projects, review development proposals and oversee change requests.

Required profile

• Graduate of a four‑year Business Management or IT‑related degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience in AR management, billing, collection or related logistics IT support.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships and understand business processes.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of the Poseidon Freight system and Poseidon SMARTS application.
• System performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• User account management and access‑rights configuration.
• Implementation of security controls and audit procedures.
