Plant & Equipment Manager – Construction

About the role

ACCIONA seeks an experienced Plant & Equipment Manager to lead the coordination, planning, and management of its precast fabrication and equipment operations in the Philippines. The role ensures strict compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements throughout the installation process.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor the plant’s production plan to meet on‑site assembly schedules.
• Approve manufacturing procedures, including mould design, reinforcement placement, curing systems, and internal post‑tensioning methods.
• Guarantee that all prefabricated elements meet technical specifications, geometric tolerances, and concrete strength requirements.
• Lead the plant team—superintendents, quality engineers, technical staff, and operators.
• Oversee procurement, maintenance, and operational availability of heavy machinery such as gantry cranes and handling equipment.
• Design and optimise storage area operations, managing inflow, inventory control, and outflow of critical materials.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager and Prec​ast Plant Chief to avoid bottlenecks.
• Organise internal and external transport logistics, including heavy‑vehicle handling and delivery routing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in marine and/or precast yard engineering with equipment‑management exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy construction plant, equipment, and lifting systems used in precast segmental bridge construction.
• Relevant certifications in marine engineering or equipment management are an advantage.
• Proven leadership, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities.
