Plant Controlling Analyst

About the role

The Plant Controlling Analyst provides accurate financial insight for plant operations, helping the business understand cost performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support data‑driven decision‑making. Working closely with plant teams, finance partners and stakeholders, the role drives cost transparency and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly and quarterly plant cost controlling activities and financial reporting, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with SLA.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses and special projects for stakeholders, providing root‑cause analysis and actionable solutions.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives, including automation, digitalisation and documentation of controlling processes.
• Collaborate with plant operations, finance partners and other stakeholders to communicate performance insights and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in general accounting, controlling or audit.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and English communication skills.
• Ability to work on a dayshift (7 am‑4 pm) and in a hybrid setting.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Knowledge of VBA, macros, Power BI and SAP scripting.
• Experience with data analytics or data‑science tools (preferred).
