Physical Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Physical Logistics Supervisor ensures that all dispatch and receiving processes are executed accurately, documentation is correct, and stock is verified before shipment. The role supports daily health checks, balances inventory records, and maintains a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify picked loads and ensure accurate stock selection for dispatch.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain, customs, and inventory controllers to produce correct invoicing and documentation.
• Manage dispatches, performing quantity and quality checks on a regular basis.
• Maintain SAP entries for all inbound and outbound movements without delay.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and compile inventory reports.
• Oversee casual warehouse workers, planning and reviewing their tasks.
• Handle container loading, track container returns, and avoid demurrage charges.
• Prepare materials to meet factory and local customer requests in a timely, secure manner.
• Promote safety, report unsafe conditions, and keep the warehouse clean.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory management and warehouse documentation.
• Understanding of transport operations and customer‑focused results.
• Ability to lead a team and act as a point of contact in the supervisor’s absence.
• Knowledge of dispatch, order, receiving, and purchase‑order processes.
• Familiarity with material‑handling equipment and critical warehouse processes.
