Personal Injury Case Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Case Manager to serve as the primary liaison between patients, medical providers, and attorneys. The role involves interpreting medical records, managing treatment authorizations, and ensuring compliance with policy limits throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review initial and daily medical reports to assess injury severity and treatment relevance.
• Verify causality of billed treatments and ensure they are linked to the accident.
• Act as an internal insurance adjuster, approving or denying treatment requests based on policy limits.
• Coordinate referrals within the approved provider network and locate nearby providers to facilitate patient appointments.
• Manage a caseload of 25–30 active personal injury cases, guiding each from intake through settlement.

Required profile

• Ability to independently read and interpret clinical notes, surgical recommendations, and diagnostic results.
• Experience in case management for a US personal injury law firm or medical funding/lien company.
• Familiarity with the full lifecycle of a personal injury lawsuit (Intake → Treatment → Settlement).

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal CRM platforms such as Filevine, Salesforce, and Smart Advocate.
