People Advisor – HR Operations (Laguna, Philippines)

About the role

As a People Advisor you will support Maersk’s South Luzon operations by delivering HR services that align workforce priorities with business goals. You will work closely with managers, vendors and employees to ensure smooth onboarding, talent development and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the annual Workforce Plan for the South Luzon region.
• Drive people‑related initiatives that link talent needs with business objectives.
• Analyze workforce trends and data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding processes for employees and contractors.
• Assist with the annual Learning Plan, monitor training completion and ensure compliance.
• Partner with third‑party manpower agencies, track vendor performance and resolve staffing issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience.
• Use people data and analytics to report on key HR metrics.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist with exposure to HR Operations and the employee lifecycle.
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, warehousing or similar operational environments is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
