Parts Liaison Assistant

About the role

The Parts Liaison Assistant ensures that imported automotive parts and regulated products comply with all relevant government regulations. The role manages permits, maintains accurate master data in the inventory system, and supports efficient parts operations within an after‑sales environment.

Key responsibilities

• Secure permits and certifications for imported parts and regulated products.
• Coordinate with government agencies and internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications and compliance documents.
• Represent the company during government inspections and meetings.
• Maintain parts master data, pricing, and landed‑cost updates in the Inventory Management System (IMS).
• Register new part numbers and update superseded or discontinued items.
• Monitor competitor parts pricing and respond to parts‑related inquiries.
• Prepare compliance reports and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Automotive Technology or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, importation, parts administration, inventory management or automotive after‑sales.
• Knowledge of government permit and regulatory requirements (advantageous).
• Experience with ERP or Inventory Management Systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, coordination and communication abilities.
