OTC Trading Director – Lead Crypto, FX & Stablecoin Trading

About the role

The OTC Trading Director will lead and scale Coins' OTC trading business, overseeing execution, client coverage, pricing strategy, and risk management across crypto, FX, and stablecoin markets. This role drives revenue growth while ensuring robust risk controls, efficient execution, and a best‑in‑class client experience in a fast‑moving, 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of OTC transactions, including large block trades, liquidations and bespoke client orders across crypto, FX and stablecoin products.
• Manage and grow relationships with institutional and high‑value OTC clients, tailoring pricing, spreads and liquidity access to each client profile.
• Own the OTC trading P&L, inventory exposure and hedging performance, designing risk limits and continuously optimizing hedging strategies.
• Oversee pricing models, spread configuration and real‑time quote generation, ensuring competitive pricing across market conditions.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to build and enhance OTC systems such as pricing engines, risk engines, order‑management and settlement infrastructure.
• Lead, mentor and scale a high‑performing OTC trading team while defining business strategy, market expansion opportunities and product roadmap.

Required profile

• 7–12+ years of experience in OTC trading, FX trading, crypto markets, market making or sales trading.
• Proven track record executing large and complex OTC transactions with strong understanding of liquidity, pricing mechanics and settlement flows.
• Experience managing P&L, inventory risk and hedging strategies in volatile markets.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain institutional client relationships.
• Strong analytical and systems‑thinking mindset, comfortable working with trading tools and internal platforms.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams on trading infrastructure development.
• Leadership skills with a high sense of ownership, urgency and ability to operate in a 24/7 trading environment.
