OTC Trading Director – Crypto Markets

About the role

The OTC Trading Director will lead and scale Coins' over‑the‑counter trading business across crypto, FX and stable‑coin markets. You will be responsible for revenue growth, risk controls and delivering a best‑in‑class client experience in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of large block trades, liquidations and bespoke client orders while minimizing slippage.
• Manage and expand relationships with institutional and high‑value OTC clients, tailoring pricing and liquidity access.
• Own the OTC trading P&L, inventory exposure and hedging performance, setting risk limits across asset classes.
• Oversee pricing models, spread configuration and real‑time quote generation across 30+ global venues.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to build pricing, risk, order‑management and settlement systems.
• Lead, mentor and scale a high‑performing OTC trading team while defining business strategy and product roadmap.

Required profile

• 7–12+ years of experience in OTC, FX, crypto markets, market making or sales trading.
• Proven track record executing large, complex OTC transactions.
• Strong understanding of FX and crypto liquidity, pricing mechanics, spreads and settlement flows.
• Experience managing P&L, inventory risk and hedging strategies in volatile markets.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain institutional client relationships.
• Analytical, systems‑thinking mindset with experience collaborating on trading infrastructure.
• Leadership skills to build and scale trading teams.
• High sense of ownership and ability to operate in a 24/7 trading environment.
