OSP Supervisor

About the role

The OSP Supervisor leads the implementation, operation, maintenance and repair of outside‑plant (OSP) fiber‑optic network infrastructure. The role manages both aerial and underground fiber‑optic cable activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage OSP fiber‑optic installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities.
• Oversee aerial and underground fiber‑optic cable (FOC) work, including restoration and network reliability tasks.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor field activities to ensure compliance with engineering practices and safety standards.
• Lead field technicians, installers and contractors, coordinating with clients, project teams and other stakeholders.
• Track project progress, prepare daily, weekly and technical reports, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Licensed Electronics Engineer (ECE).
• Preferably holds BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) certification.
• Preferably holds CFOS/D (Certified Fiber Optic Specialist – Design) certification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in OSP implementation, maintenance and repair of aerial and underground fiber‑optic networks.
• Willingness to travel, work Monday‑Saturday and relocate within South and North Luzon.
