Operations Test Analyst, CDSClear

About the role

LCH SA's CDSClear Operations team in Manila is looking for a motivated Operations Test Analyst to support the preparation, execution and follow-up of Operations-led User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for CDSClear. The role works with Operations, Risk, IT and Product participants, validates delivered changes against real operational workflows and supports member-facing UAT when the test environment is opened to Clearing Members. It operates on European business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Operations UAT scenarios in the End-User Acceptance environment according to agreed scope, test plans and workflows
• Document test results, evidence, screenshots, trade IDs and expected versus actual outcomes
• Log defects with reproduction steps and operational context, and keep an audit trail of testing, defects, retesting and closure
• Report progress, blockers and risks, and raise issues to the relevant Operations lead, SME or project participant
• Collaborate with Operations SMEs and Business Analysts, and with Technology teams on environment readiness, access, configuration and test data
• Assist members with UAT queries and coordinate test execution, data needs and configuration requests
• Take part in requirement walkthroughs, UAT preparation and release readiness discussions
• Prepare and input test data, analyse results, support defect triage and contribute to regression testing and release readiness
• Contribute to improving UAT documentation, capture member feedback and support operational readiness activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Technology or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services, ideally in Operations, Middle Office, Back Office, testing or a business-facing support function
• Experience in UAT execution, business testing or operational validation
• Exposure to clearing, post-trade, derivatives, trade lifecycle or capital markets is advantageous; knowledge of Credit Default Swaps, CCP services or credit events is beneficial
• Ability to work European business hours from Manila

Required skills

• Ability to implement test cases accurately and document outcomes clearly
• Working knowledge of Agile principles; Agile certifications (e.g. CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist) are advantageous
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Zephyr
• Ability to read business specifications and user stories and turn them into test scenarios
• Clear communication and collaboration across Operations, Technology, Change, Risk and project teams
