Operations Manager – Logistics

About the role

Teleport is seeking an Operations Manager to lead its air freight cargo operations across Southeast Asia. You will be responsible for ensuring fast, reliable, and cost‑effective movement of shipments while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end air cargo operations, including loading, unloading, and handling of shipments.
• Lead and develop a team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Design and implement route‑optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Resolve operational issues promptly to minimise supply‑chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Analyse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Liaise with airline personnel, ground handling teams, and freight forwarders to ensure timely cargo movement.
• Oversee documentation such as air waybills and customs forms.
• Monitor cargo tracking, ULD movement, and interline operations.
• Support digital initiatives like e‑AWB integration and cargo‑tracking tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in air freight or logistics operations management.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
